Jenipher’s Coffi

Jenipher’s Coffi is a new Fairtrade specialty coffee – a collaboration between the people of Wales and Uganda. 

Inspired by the Ugandan coffee farmer Jenipher Wettaka, who grows her beans on the slopes of Mount Elgon, we created a heavily illustrated, vibrant brand that could bring socially and environmentally responsible coffee to a broader and younger audience. Visually the brand was inspired by hand painted shop signs and Ugandan and Welsh colours and designs. 

I created the hand-lettered logo and labels design, forming the basis for the Jenipher’s Coffi brand, as well as a series of illustrations for their website and social media.
